The Space
A luxurious 4 BHK apartment in Mumbai, designed to provide a harmonious blend of contemporary style and Vastu principles. This spacious home aims to create an environment that balances modern aesthetics with traditional energy flow, ensuring comfort, elegance, and well-being for the family.
The Ask
The family desired a modern, elegant living space with a dedicated deck area in the living room featuring a swing and a secret bar. They also wanted a media room within the house, along with a cute and functional kids’ room for their twin children.
The Result
We designed a deck area in the living room, differentiating it with unique flooring and incorporating a cozy swing and a hidden bar. To create the media room, we remodeled a space in the passage of the house, maximizing the available area.
Key Features:
- Color Therapy and Vastu Shapes: Each room was designed with specific colors and shapes as per Vastu principles, promoting balanced energies throughout the home.
- Living Room: Located in the southeast, the living room features Pantone 13-1023 Peach Fuzz, adding warmth and vibrancy.
- Kids’ Room: Situated in the north, the kids’ room is adorned with Tiffany Blue, creating a playful and soothing environment.
- Other Rooms: Each room was given its own unique color and shapes, enhancing the home’s overall life and energy balance.
- Deck Area: A beautifully designed deck area in the living room includes a comfortable swing and a secret bar, perfect for relaxation and entertaining guests.
- Media Room: A dedicated media room was created by remodeling a space in the passage, providing a cozy and private area for the family to enjoy movies and entertainment.
- Storage Solutions: Ample storage was integrated throughout the home, including a Murphy bed in the study room to optimize space and functionality. Each room features flush doors, contributing to a sleek and modern aesthetic.
- Sunlight and Ambiance: Large windows and strategic design ensure ample sunlight throughout the home, enhancing the sense of space and promoting a cheerful atmosphere.
The final design of Celestial Sanctum successfully combines contemporary elegance with Vastu principles, creating a modern living space that is both beautiful and balanced. This home promotes harmony, well-being, and a sense of tranquility for the family while incorporating unique and functional features that cater to their lifestyle needs.
